A Ball Valve is a quarter-turn valve that uses a hollow, perforated, and pivoting ball to control the flow of fluid through a pipeline. It opens when the ball’s hole is aligned with the flow and closes when the ball is rotated 90 degrees. Ball valves are widely used due to their tight sealing, quick operation, minimal pressure drop, and long service life.
