Bundle heater
Bundle heaters are engineered for high-temperature furnace applications, delivering
robust and efficient heating for processes like aluminum smelting and steel galvanizing. These
heaters consist of circular ceramic discs that encase resistance heating elements, often paired
with radiant tubes to enhance heat transfer while protecting against refractory corrosion and gas
impurities. Materials like ferritic alloys (up to 1250°C) or nickel-chromium (NiCr) alloys (up to
1100°C) ensure durability under extreme conditions. The assembly includes terminal rods
(typically SS 310 or Incoloy), a central rod for structural support, and alumina ceramic discs for
insulation.
